Alaniz Excellence in Education Foundation

Mission:

The Alaniz Excellence in Education Foundation was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with a mission that supports excellence in education by increasing access to quality education for all children.  It promotes higher education, and works towards achieving excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields and advancing teacher education in STEM related fields; to strengthen the educational aspects of the community by securing much-needed funding to assist deserving students in the area of higher education, and to aid in the construction and maintenance of community projects for our children and the community.

What We Do:

The foundation is organized to:

• Utilize its income and assets exclusively for charitable purposes.
• Provide scholarships to graduating seniors from Carrizo Springs Consolidated Independent School District.
• To sponsor summer camps and summer school programs for children focusing in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields in collaboration with Carrizo Springs Consolidated Independent School District.
• Aid in construction and maintenance of community projects for children, including parks, playgrounds, sports facilities and other facilities deemed necessary in collaboration with Carrizo Springs Consolidated Independent School District.
